Many roads lead to REMONDIS.
Our customers' wishes are the highest priority. That's why we use different take-back systems, depending on the legal situation and the type of task. We do this not only for electrical and electronic equipment from private households, but also for equipment that was in commercial use. The following options are possible:
- Systems to collect waste from households or directly from industrial/commercial final consumers
- Systems to collect WEEE that has been given back to retail stores, municipalities and consolidation centres
- All types of take-back systems for individual manufacturers
- Collective take-back systems for several manufacturers
- Management of equipment taken-back by producers themselves
The German ElektroG regulations place the full responsibility for the products with the manufacturers and retailers of electrical and electronic equipment. This means that they are required to take the equipment back and to recycle and dispose of it using the most up-to-date technology available. REMONDIS Electrorecycling takes over this responsibility for them. |
