REMONDIS Electrorecycling has developed and implemented robust customer-oriented WEEE solutions in Germany, France, Austria and Poland. In addition to these, we have also concluded contracts with the Dutch take-back scheme, Wecycle, and our Slovenian WEEE treatment partner, ZEOS.
The WEEE collected by Wecycle in the Netherlands is treated at our dismantling centre in Lünen
The Dutch Wecycle scheme, which is based in Zoetermeer, organises the collection and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment and compact fluorescent lights on behalf of manufacturers and importers. To ensure it recovers the largest possible volumes of appliances, Wecycle cooperates with local authorities, charities, shops, trading businesses, educational institutes, clubs and associations as well as private individuals. We treat the material from the Netherlands at our plant in Lünen.
A familiar site on the roads in Slovenia: the national non-profit take-back scheme ZEOS has its own fleet of vehicles
ZEOS, ravnanje z elektrièno in elektronsko opremo, d.o.o., was founded by the leading producers of electrical and electronic equipment in Slovenia as a national non-profit take-back system in June 2005. Our treatment partner has its head office in Ljubljana and cooperates with the Ministry for Environment and Spatial Planning. Their aim is to establish a system that collects and recycles unwanted electrical and electronic equipment in accordance with the WEEE Directive. We recycle the material generated in Slovenia in Austria.
