By recycling cooling appliances, REMONDIS is helping to prevent climate change in Poland – ensuring all refrigerants and blowing agents are removed using environmentally sound processes
REMONDIS’ dismantling centre in Blonie is situated in the centre of Poland in the Masovian Voivodeship approximately 25 kilometres west of Warsaw. Whilst REMONDIS’ dismantling centre in the Polish city of Lodz primarily focuses on sorting batteries and manually dismantling small appliances, display equipment and IT equipment, its site in Blonie specialises in technology used for processing cooling appliances – a strategic decision made by the company to have two separate plants in Poland specialising in different areas of WEEE recycling.
